It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Luca Browne of Coolagarry, Curraghboy, Athlone, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by his devoted and loving family.
Luca was a cherished son, brother, grandson, and friend whose gentle spirit and beautiful soul touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His life, though far too short, was filled with love, warmth, and moments that will forever be treasured by those closest to him.
He is now reunited with his beloved grandfather, Ambrose, who predeceased him.
Luca will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken parents, Barry and Joanne (McKeown), and his adoring sisters, Amelia and Abigail, who shared a special and unbreakable bond with him.
He will also be deeply missed by his grandparents John, Mary, and Claire; his aunts Anne-Marie, Karen, Christa, Toni, and Adele; his uncles Damien, Martin, and George; as well as his extended family and cousins, all of whom held him dearly in their hearts.
Luca’s presence brought light and joy to those around him, and his memory will continue to live on through the love he shared and the lives he touched.
The Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of the Risen Christ, Ballybay, followed by a private cremation.
In celebration of Luca’s bright and beautiful life, those attending are encouraged to wear colourful attire.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of LauraLynn Children’s Hospice and Portiuncula Hospital for their exceptional care and support. They also wish to acknowledge Luca’s friends and the wonderful staff at St. Hilda’s School, where he will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
